After a year long residency it was time to show and tell. Small spontaneous sketches, drawings, abstract collages and oil paintings including a huge oil triptych all found a hanging space somewhere around the ancient site. Midst churns and pitchforks, the parlour, dairy, stables and ox-byre all became pop-up galleries and the response was wonderful. All the sold paintings are now on their way to new homes and we’re rehanging for Oxfordshire Artweeks Site 141.
The show continues to the end of June and I shall be tutoring a 2 day workshop ‘Abstracting the Landscape’. Please contact Cogges for details.
