Delighted to have won an award for a little painting "Coastwalk" at SWAc open exhibition.
I’ve been billed as an “Abstract artist” . Well, yes, maybe, sometimes. My work is a direct and immediate response to landscape and organic form so surely that makes me a “representative” or “figurative” artist, but sometimes emotion and alchemy take a bigger grip on the outcome. It’s all a matter of perception. I’m looking forward to meeting people at the Burford Gallery this weekend.
